Why do young & middle age motorcyclists drive so wrecklessly?
They’re just gonna make a bigger splatter when they spill their machine or clip a larger vehicle. They give more experienced motorcyclists a bad rep from their sloppy & inconsiderate driving habits.
Maybe, there ought to be a tax for “racing type” motorcycles to be permitted use on public roads. To discourage wreckless driving.
Most motorcyclists who drive a “street bike” do not drive carelessly or wrecklessly, let alone stupidly.
The tax would be comensurate with the “drivers” history & assessed every time they renewed their license.
Certain displacements: 200cc, 300cc, 400cc, for racing style motorcycles would have a higher base tax to work with, particularly those whose statistics have shown the most accidents with injury & fatalities.
The heavier bikes are the less likely will the rider be prone to driving stupidly. From experience.
But with racers & enduros, there will always be riders who will be tempted with their machines potential capabilities.
It’s a known fact that the roads and cars are there to create a route and a slalom for them to perform on. And heck we all know they are indestructible. All us drivers should just yield to them..
You do notice however that older rider are more experienced meaning they have probably seen a friend die in a motorcycle accident. Or been in one and realize that being in an accident on a motorcycle doesn’t mean surviving it.. Helmets are just so the Moms can kiss their children before the casket is closed..
